Join us for a special evening in support of Learning Through Art. Celebrate the achievements of everyone involved in LTA, including the students and their families, teaching artists and teachers, as well as those who provide financial support to the program. Open House for Educators
Wednesday, May 28, 3:30–5:45 p.m.
Explore the exhibition A Year with Children 2008, featuring art created by New York City elementary school students, and speak with the teaching artists who designed the projects on view. Then join us in the Sackler Center for Arts Education for a look at the Guggenheim’s educational Web sites, an investigation of the role of sketchbooks in the classroom, and refreshments. Family Day

Join us for a day that celebrates the exhibitions Cai Guo-Qiang: I Want to Believe and A Year with Children 2008 featuring artwork by students across the city who participated in the museum’s Learning Through Art program. Explore the exhibitions and engage in conversation, art-making activities, performances, and storytelling. $15 per family, $10 for members, free for Learning Through Art families and Family Members.
